The major production of kiwi fruit, amounting to 295,000 tons, has ranked Iran among the largest producers of this fruit in the fourth place.
The main origin of this fruit goes back to China, which has produced 2 million 390 thousand tons in the first place, and Italy, New Zealand, Iran, and Chile are in the second and fifth ranks, respectively.
This amount of production from kiwi has created a high export potential, and the producers of dried fruits by processing this dried fruit and powder, in addition to reducing waste, have contributed to greater profitability.
Exporting dried kiwi to neighboring countries and European countries with high-quality Iranian fruits as well as cheap price is the best option for various industries.
